AMResorts is a hotel management company operating 32 all-inclusive beachfront resorts in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Curacao as of November 2013 and Costa Rica as of November 2014. . AMResorts is expected to have 39 properties and more than 15,000 rooms under management by the end of 2016.
AMResorts was founded by Alejandro Zozaya-Gorostiza who continues to serve as company president. It is a subsidiary of Apple Leisure Group. It started on September 2001 with Sunscape Punta Cana.
Brands
The AMResorts properties are distributed across five brand names, all of which provide beachfront resorts and spas:
- Zoëtry Resorts & Spas: Most luxurious brand, all suites, children discouraged
- Secrets Resorts & Spas: Adults-only, oriented towards relaxation
- Dreams Resorts & Spas: Families allowed, oriented towards relaxation
- Now Resorts & Spas: Families encouraged, oriented towards people wanting active vacations
- Sunscape Resorts & Spas]: Families encouraged, oriented towards people wanting active vacations
- Breathless Resorts & Spas
All AMResorts properties operate exclusively on the all-inclusive model. t
